French police are surround an apartment building in which occupant, Jihadi Mohamed Merah, has fired upon and wounded three police office and claims his assault on a Toulouse synagogue that killed 3 children and a rabbi was revenge for Palestinian children.
He has thrown a hand gun out of a window, and intends surrender in the afternoon. He has claimed that he is a member of the al-queda linked Forzan Aleeza.

Merah was killed in an intense shoot out with French police after a 30 hour seige. One officer is wound and another is in shock. The conclusion to the incident was report in a press scrum by Claude Gueant, the French Interior Minister.
